Client: Grand Sculpture Location: Prague Proposal: 2008 The impulse was to create a work of art which would become the main atraction in the Sculpture Grande Prague event. The aim was to achieve a mixture of architecture and the visual art and to create a very aesthetic object not only beautiful but also functional and with influence on public space. We wanted to use innovative design and new technical solutions to get new experience which could be applied in architectural projects and buildings in the future. Ark was the first collaboration between IO Studio and sculptor Stepan Beranek.
