Caffe Rudolfinum
Client: CF Year of proposal: 2008 IO studio proposed new interior for coffe bar in Rudolfinum, location of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra in Prague. The building is designed by famous czech architects Zítek and Schulz. Space where the coffe place is situated now, was not originally designed for this purpose. It was done so in late eighties and in the style of that period. Newly designed object made out of osiers with reference to the old traditional manufacture should ligthed up the space which otherwise gives too academic and strcit feeling.
